Color match is great. Just I painted the interior flat black, because they are unpainted on the interior and look strange if you don't paint them. They are from American Muscle "Eleanor style", had a litle of an issue with one of the sides (left), I had to stick them twice, because that side was not countored like the other one. But after that no problem at all.:good:
Those two holes, where very small, the shop did a great job, even if I try to look for them where they where, I can not find them. It was a great job, about 6-7 hours took them to finish it.
Can I make a suggestion? I'm gonna try to do this also... but partscheap.com just got the California Special blackout trunklid vinyl for a pretty good price and its OEM... figured u wanna do black accents, plus the rear looks too red... I look at mine all the time and I need just a little more contrast in the rear
Yea I saw a California Special in the showroom and was pretty impressed...I'm gonna get it and have it put on professionally cuz I don't have the finesse for that

I'm still curious how they filled the holes?? Didn't really answer the question there... And 6-7 hours is insane.. We've installed these stripes in a couple hours at our shop...
I work at an auto accessory shop.. And I dont know of anyway to do it "right" aside from having the hole filled and welded then smoothed back down and repainted.. Unless they used bondo
Well I can say one thing... IMHO race red and grabber blue are the biggest head turners.... the random respect nods and thumbs up I get all the time are priceless
