Well, as of two days ago I am the proud owner of my 5th Mustang (not at the same time), a 2012 GTCS. While checking out all the SYNC features I ran a diagnostic report which came back with three codes:
Charge System Fault
Malfunction Indicator Lamp-Regulatory
Low engine oil pressure
Now I just picked up the car two days ago so I was surprised to see the codes. I dont have any lights on the dash, my oil pressure gauge shows normal and the oil level is fine. I also dont have any indications of a weak or dying battery, and the engine runs smooth. So, I brought it in anyway. Better be safe than sorry on my new car. Ford said there were no issues.
So, is this common to get false codes? The tech said that I could drive myself crazy with the health reports and to not worry unless I get a dash light. Can anyone with experience please help? The whole thing makes me uncomfortable.

I have owned my 11 gt for over a year now and have never once checked the sync health report... I'm curious now and I'm gonna check it out as soon as I get off work. I'll let you know what happens
The Ford Sync system is full of bugs. You'll see more of them as you explore the sound system and other components. Hopefully they're working on fixes.
Sounds like you ran the check while the car was off. It will even freak out if the parking brake is on while the test is ran, since this illuminates the brake light on the dash.
I figured out why the ipod doesnt come back on...it has something to do with not hanging up the phone properly its hard to explain...its like even tho u try to sync the ipod its still in phone mode..if u get off the phone and ipod doesnt come back u actually have to go back to phone mode and hang the phone up with the steering wheel control...i no really confusing lol
I used to have a lot of issues with sync but I went to ford and got a "system update" as the guy called it and what ever he did for 4 hours to my car it erased all sync problems.
