Exhaust

Just ordered some exhaust tips, gonna put in a custom exhaust this weekend. So stoked! I'll post pics and sound clips when it's done.

What mufflers are you going with? I'm gonna do a custom muffler delete this week. If I don't like it I'll just add some mufflers later.

Cool. I may get mine done tomorrow. If he can get to it. Sucks that I don't have a lift. I weld for a living and could do it myself and save some cash.

Yeah I'm hoping to get mine done thursday. So much cheaper to just go custom if you know someone with a pipe bender and a lift. Lol

I know man. Axle back muffler deletes are so over priced it's ridiculous. My guy is doing my car for 60 a side. Muffler delete
Axle backs are over 300. That's crazy

It is way ridiculous. I can't find anyone around here that does it for cheap but I'm headed to my hometown for my birthday and my guy has done almost all my exhausts when I was growing up so he'll give me a pretty sweet deal.

Just got home from having my custom muffler delete done. It sounds good. I can promise that you won't have any problems being heard if you delete your mufflers.

Nice! What tips did you go with? Or did you retain the stock tips?

Nice, I'm excited for loud! I'm kinda worried my guy won't be comfortable doing 3 in cat back since the pipes are so close to the driveshaft, but if he won't do it I'll be happy with just muffler delete.

Me too man! Thank you. I always prefer to do mine custom because then it feels more like my own. And it's way cheaper. But I hope it sounds awesome.

did the exact same thing for the exact same price! I used the stock tips though, had them rotate them and recess them a tad to be flush with the natural contour of the car... here's a vid of what they sounds like... also note the color

Dang that sounds good. And looks good too. But I may be partial. I'm loving my muffler deletes as well. I also have 3.73s. Only difference in our cars i guess is that I have the brembo package. Are you gonna add mufflers eventually or just keep the deletes?

I'm definitely gonna add mufflers at some point but when I do I think I'll put some cutouts in somewhere for the weekends, I definitely love the WOT sound that wakes the dead but sometimes I want to be more quiet.

I'm planning on doing the boss intake with Steeda CAI/tune first then later adding an offroad x pipe, cutouts and gt500 mufflers and a custom dyno tune for that step.

should be just under 500 crank hp and I'll be able to be loud when I want... and with the cat deletes it will be LOUD
