Starting issues

Know there may be another thread about this but I am having some issues with my 2011 gt starting. I still have a stock engine and tune so that's not the issue. I took it in for warranty work today and the device manager said "that's not good" when I described the issue. I will post when the dealer tells me what's exactly is wrong. The issue was the car just cranking and not firing.

I had that same issue When i was stock i think its an issue with new auto start feature....they flashed mine so you need to make sure you tune back to stock before they touch it...i have had it happen since i tuned the ecu for my gears but only when its pretty cold out

I just listened to the voicemail from the dealer, they have had my car for three days and so far all they can tell is it's a computer issue and it's serious enough that they gave me a car to drive. Mustang gt with starting issues = stripped ford fiesta for me

Well I drive around 40 miles a day and they didn't want to put miles on another mustang, but yes it does suck going from 412hp to 150hp. Damn fiesta tops at 80 mph

There are many threads on this ... you should search for them and read them.

Service manager is an idiot ... there is a TSB for this issue and it should have been fixed in less than an hour with a reflash of the ECU to an updated strategy. Tell them you're coming to get your car and take it to a different dealer.
