2010 GT Rear view mirror camera

has anyone installed a switch to operate the camera manually ? if so, how did you go about it.

I think the camera is operated by a ground when you go into reverse... That being said, you would have to find that wire and put a switch in (to manually ground it to make the camera come on)

On all the ones I've done the camera turns on through a positive trigger from your reverse wire.. Only way to do it would be to get a multi-meter( I don't recommend test lights) and go through and test every wire on the back of the radio to see which one switches to 12v when you put the car in reverse.. Then as said cut your wire and add in a switch to cut/give power to your cam...
