Boss 338 wheels

Well,

I decided to go with the Boss 338 wheels. I was originally considering the FR500 in 20 inch but did not want to deal with Cruzin Concepts as I have heard plenty about them. I will post pics once they are installed. Cant wait!

Just in case you didnt know a 295/35 will be noticeably taller than the 255/35 you want on the front.. I dunno if they make a 295/30 but that's what I would suggest.. Or a 285/35

Yeah I believe it is about 28 inches. I like a bit of sidewall and a 30 may be too thin

A 255/35 is 26.0276 inches tall.. And a 295/35 is 27.13 inches.. Over a full inch diff.. And a 285/35 is 26.94 inches.. And if there is a 295/30 it would be 25.968 inches..

Go with a 255/40 and a 285/35 they would be the same profile height

Good prices, bad customer service. You can do a search through the forums. Some customers are happy with them but many are not. I also read that customers have had problems with warranty

Very close.. The 285 would still be slightly shorter.. Assuming front and rear tires are same brand and just diff sizes

I want the meatiest, widest tire combo I can fit on there. The brand really does not matter to me as long as is a name brand. I saw a guy locally with 295 35 and 275 35 on the same size wheels. Not sure if 275 will rub up front.

By "meaty" do you mean wide, tall, or both?

Nitto makes NT05s in 275/40ZR20 and 255/35ZR20 which would fit. You could also do NT555s (might be cheaper) in 285/35R22 and 255/30ZR22. They have all their sizes listed on their site nittotire.com

My wheels are 20 inch. I would like to go anywhere from 285-305 out back and 255-275 up front but not sure what tire combo would be ideal height

**** sorry, copied from the wrong section on the NT555s, 275/35ZR20 and 255/35ZR20 should be accurate for 20s.

Re: Boss 338 wheels

Nothing they have in "street" tires fit well on 20x10 that aren't "low profile tires once you get over 275 wide. They have some 305 and 315 DRs in 20s but they recommend an 11" wheel for them.

Might want to take a look at other manufacturers.

If you know what size your looking for, discounttires.com has a drop-down shopping tool that can help find some options for you.

I'm running 275's on all four corners and have had zero issues with them rubbing. My car is not lowered though, not sure if yours is

Re: Boss 338 wheels

How about 295/35 Nitto Invo. Delta VT has them. Although I think he might have 20X10.5 rims...check with him. I will get some when I burn through my Falkens. I have 20X10s.

Thats what I needed to see man! Thanks I wanted to make sure they fit. I think I prefer the 35 series over the 30 for a bit more sudewall. I am not a big fan of thin tires and I almost went with 18s for that reason.
