Anyone kno if the '13 model tail lights will be able to fit in the '12 body? Also I have a '12 mustang and I got the hid headlights but now I want the '13 headlights anyone know if those are interchangeable?
Thanks in advance for the help .

I do believe the tail lights will fit. The headlights look like they might bolt up but I couldn't be sure until I see one in person.

There was a pic posted in a thread a while back iirc showing the difference.

Thanks for the quick responses and please post a pic if you come across it again.
I love my '12 GT but some of those new bells and whistles are pretty sweet.

Even if the tails fit, I know its not gonna be plug and play.... I know the reverse lights are using the center LEDs of the signal/brake lights.... I hope they can fit w/o much Modding cuz I really like these new tails :-/

Me too! And I spent the extra on the hid head lights and the new ones are awesome with those small led bars...

The tails are a different shape. If they are compatible with the 10-12's then you'll need the 13' rear bumper. And the 13' HID's won't be a direct plug and play just like the 10-12 HID's aren't in the halogen setups. Here's a pic comparing my 12' with the 13' tailights. You can see the difference in shape

Kinda insane what they charge for in demand parts.

the rear bumper is needed probably, but the rear bumper on the Gt/v6 dont have the black crap at the bottom either so its not a bad way to go

Don't get me wrong I love my 12 Mustang GT, but I guess I'm a little butt sore that it doesn't have the newest taillights and sweet LEDs in the head lights. ---------- Post added at 02:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:22 AM ---------- Oh and did I hear that the 13's have 8 more horsepower?

No, that AutoStick or whatever they call it. Select Shift? Almost had me wanting it for clutchless track shifting but ultimately did not want to lose the control you can get with a stick.

I believe wheelman has got this right. I don't think it's going to have paddle shifters. Just going to be able to manually change gears through the shifter. I don't know why we don't have paddle shifters on our mustangs. I mean smart cars have them.. Probably mini vans too..

Right out the box runs low 11's. WIth a tune and exhuast runs constant low 10's. Then they have them in teh mid 8's now and still DD them like it was still stock. Still weighs 3900lbs launches liek crazy with its AWD and on the street is deadly with its perfect shifting.
I love my mustang but would traded it in a heart beat for a GTR. Sorry.
