AM window tint -- did i just ruin it??

Long story short I was tinting the fogs and turned them on to see better. I was working out the water on one and glanced over at the other to see a bubbly mess. I turned them off ASAP and sprayed it down with water. I smoothed out at much as I could but there are still a lot of tiny bubbles. Will these go away in a couple days or am I screwed and getting ready to rip these off and try again? Ugh.

FWIW I tinted all the lights without issue. I was running out of light with the fogs and made a stupid mistake.

The only way to find out is to peel it back very gently. If the adhesive is still sticky retry and work the bubbles out if it not sticky your screwed! I didn't use the soapy water just cleaned the lights and applied tint.

I think I pretty much hosed them but it's supposed to be sunny the next few days. I'll let it bake outside and keep my fingers crossed. I don't have high hopes so my next question will be...what's the best way to remove the tint? Haha just get some tint removal solution?

That's the advantage of using water.. As long as it hasn't dried out you can peel off and respray w water and try again

Those were just water pockets an actual air bible won't come out.. Might get smaller.. But usually you can look right in the middle of the bubble and see a tiny piece of dirt which causes the tint to not stick around it..

Well it doesn't look too bad after sitting out in the sun all day. You really can notice anything unless you kneel down and look at it..I could defiantly do better a second time. Everything else looks great!
