Lowering the rear end

Have a 2010 V6.... would like to drop it about an inch.... do I need new springs or can a coil be cut?

Do not cut springs...

Cutting a coil could be done. But it will ride like complete ****. Invest the couple hundred and buy lowering springs.

on a linear spring cutting it a bit wont alter the rate that much, cutting it a bunch will. You have to cut it with a cut off wheel though. As said buy progressive rate springs for all 4 corners and be done with it (install is very easy and get camber bolts as well to get alignment fixed).

As far as panhard bar research and see how low you can go without needing one
