70W80 synthetic is what the dealer put in my MT-82 when they swapped it out.

Can this stuff be used year round?? I'm confused to which one I can use that I don't have to change twice a year... I live in Jersey, and my car isn't a DD

Yeah, Royal Purple Max Gear 75W90 is the recommend weight for year round use.

Yeah, it's supposed to be better but you should check with your dealer to be sure that it won't effect your warranty.

I wouldn't ask, that just tells them what you're doing to it. I use MTG and it's been pretty good, a big improvement over the stock crap.

3 quarts, fill is 2.7 qts. Take 1 cup out of one and you're left with 2.75 which is just about perfect when you account for what sticks in the bottle and tubing.

Some use it year around, but I think it can get a bit dicey in extreme cold ... all the fluids do though from what I hear.

Look to see if they have a pump, makes the job really easy. Also, pour about 9 oz out of the third bottle to get to the 2.7 quarts. I went with max gear oil based on reviews I read, and I am pleased.
