New 2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 mods

I just got my new silver Ford Mustang 5.0 . I just ordered a Roush CAI and Roush axle-back exhaust. Anyone have any ideas on what I should invest in next. I was thinking either a Tuner or some 18 inch black rims. Thank you

Definitely go for the tuner. Biggest bang for the buck and also helps you maximize any further power in all subsequent purchases

*********** keep in mind a tune will void the warranty**************

Re: New 2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 mods

Thank you. Thats what I was worried about that it would mess up my warranty. Had a 2002 Ford mustang GT convertible with 118,000 miles on it before I sold it and never had any major problems with it. Never had it tuned so I was a little worried about tuning my new car.

These tuning companies back up their equipment with warranties. Just go with a reputable one and you will have zero problems

I was thinking of the SCT SF3/X3 Power Flash Tuner from American muscle. Have only heard good reviews of this tuner.

AM is a good reputable company. I would recommend them to anyone. It also depends on your dealer about the warranty. If its major than yes they will get out of fixing it, however it does not totally void your warranty.

If you blow a motor its not up to the dealership.. Things have changed.. BUT the only major engine issue w these cars has been the #8 cylinder.. AM offers a #8 warranty w their tunes as long as the vehicle has never been tuned and you don't mess with the tuning that they send you... I'm not aware of any other tuners that offer a warranty but I could be wrong.. AM also has free tunes for life so you can retune as you mod.. Their tunes don't offer the most power BUT they are free and WARRANTY!

As other thread. Tune/stall/off road x pipe, and some drag radials and you will have a mid range 11 sec car that runs it constant. Biggest two on that list is tune and stall. Oh of course tire to be able to launch.
