Boss Intake or Fuel Problem?

Alright so Im sure your sick of seeing threads from me by now but Im just trying to figure this out through process of elimination.

At first I thought it was the MAF sensor.....
Then I thought it was the Tune......
Then I thought it was the CAI........

Well its not any of those things.....

could it be it was this big black plastic thing on top of my motor that says Boss?!?

I know people are 50/50 on here about the Boss Intake. Could this be the problem causing my car to "fall flat on its face" on the launch? Yes I launch my car high enough at 6000rpm, but could it be that loss of torque causing the car to bog with only 3.73's.

Or

Is is the fuel sloushing back in the tank. I have run with a half tank of fuel so Im not to sure that is the problem.

My BEST 1/4 ET with the car is 12.6 with DR's, Boss Intake, Tune, and JLT CAI. The car is 6MT, which im sure a lot of you know haha. Then I see guys doing 12.3's without the boss.....

Below is a link to a youtube video of me doing a burnout and then launching which you can hear it falling flat on his face....

May sound stupid but you are not lifting on gas are you. I had this issue. The launch caused me to pull up on gas. I moved my seat a little closer then normal.

Next have you checked for air leaks? Or data logged to make sure tune is perfect?

I have the boss intake also. I bought and installed last summer when it first came out. There is no clear place for the purge valve and I thought it didn't need it. So I didn't put in back on. After about a month of going back and fourth with American muscle with the CIA, the tune, finally took it to someone that had enough since to call American muscle and found out they did not foldout with a mount for the valve connection for the boss. They have one now it about 200$$ waist of $$ cause I mounted it to the block. The instructions for the boss...well there was none. So because there was no place for the valve I thought it didn't use it. I was wrong. But that's why I don't work on cars for a living. Anyways does you car have trouble starting after you get gas? If so that's your problem. Now that I got everything going right I pull low 12s in the 1/4 . The boss does it business in the 4-7500 Range. Happy driving!!!

When you loaded your tune, did you take the car through the idle/fuel trim relearn process? Not doing this can cause the car to run like crap and idle poorly. It's in the owners manual somewhere between page 283 and 288 depending on the revision. I'd post it but I'm using my phone to post this.
