2013 tail lights

Has there been any word about the 2013 tail lights being made for the 2012? They look sick and I want them on my 2012

I read somewhere they bolt up but you have to replace the rear bumper

Wiring has to be different also... reverse light works in the middle LED so there's more than just replacing the bumper

Ya I love those taillights. I saw a 2013 gt at the dealer by my house and they look better in person.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the 2013 lights won't fit the 2011 or 2012. The bumper is entirely different and like some said earlier the wiring is different too. I would look to someone like raxiom to come out with some aftermarket conversion or an all new twilight that looks similar. There are going o be a lot of people (including me) that are going to want those lights. That means money for whoever makes a kit first.

There was a roush car posted a while back with the new tails in a 12. They worked but didn't fit perfect. Had some gaps. Not sure on wiring as I don't really see Ford messing with that. But a bumper cover and then tail lights seems your in business

Anyone know yet what would have to be replaced in order to do the 2013 grille and hood on an '11-'12? Are headlights/fenders/etc diff?

Since look just like GT500 you had clipsand stuff also to.buy. Hood/grille/bumper/etc etc. To swap to a GT500 on a regular GT will run you almost 3k in parts before paint.

Just by looking I thought maybe the 11-12 bumper would work w the '13 grille..

Only one way to find out. As the 2013 grill and bumper is same as GT500 some thing tells me it will not. I know GT500 grills will not work with current GT and GT not with V6.

Yeah there was a pic of a 2011 V6 with the '13 tails. Here it is... There is a gap where the bumper angle is.

I'd rather have the 2013 rear bumper and keep my stock taillights. That bumper is tight!

Ya it's the other way around for me. I like the taillights but not a big fan of bumper. I like the look of the black between the exhaust on the 10-12

Yeah, I like that too. I upgraded my GT rear valence to a CS/GT500 rear valence. It's tight too!

I don't like the new bumper license plate area...it's too Euro! That and those reflectors towards the bottom part of the bumper. I had mine painted and would prefer mine over the '13.

How much did that cost to have it painted?
