Saving up for that! Thanks for info! Should have been more thorough! How could I increase until I purchase? The most bang for the buck?

Re: Increasing hp on 2010 GT

Not sure, but most of the stuff you will read around here is related to the new 5.0. The section can be a bit confusing since it's sorted by body style and not mechanical components. The guys in the 05-09 section have the same engine/transmission/suspension that you do (11+ is different) and might be able to give you some specific pointers. A few guys here might be able to chime in too since a few of them traded '10s for '11s or '12s.

Blower for sure. But note your stock bottom end isn't much good past 450whp.

Start of with a CAI and tune you can also let her breathe a little better by having some LTs and mid pipe installed.

Buddy has a 2008 with a 2.6L Kenne Bell and why nice my 5.0 with a tune and off road x pipe walked him every time. He hit low 12's at the track same time I was running high 11's. He also has a level 10 built trany with a 3200 stall. Both on Drag Radials. He was kinda dissappointed.

Re: Increasing hp on 2010 GT

Get yourself a JLT intake and tuner from American Muscle. It is the best bang for the buck. You won't be disappointed.

The throttle response alone is worth it. Like driving a new car.

are you planning on racing? If so trade it in for the 5.0 if not then get you some gears, cai, and a tune this should make it quick a but quicker on the street...if you ever plan on getting a supercharger then trade it for a 5.0, the above roush m90 is about the same hp as many 5.0 are seeing stock so in the end you will spend more and have less

True i just got rid of my 2008 roush 427. It had the m90. Smaller pulley 2.4, 90mm mass airflow. Stedda coldair, full exhaust, highflow cats, custom dyno tune maxed out 2 verry agresive tune. Best pull it made was 488 to tires thats it. Traded it for a 12 5.0 and i like the 5.0 alot more. Can make same power with boltons on a 5.0

Re: Increasing hp on 2010 GT

I am completely serious dude. There's good value in your 2010 on trade but, perception will make resale lousy in the future. Get a 5.0, gain 100 horses w/o modifying, get a warranty and get into something that will be an iconic milestone in the history of Mustang.

Agree you can make a 4.6 bad *** if have the money. But definitely want forged internals. I do think only change above would be a huge KB.

With all of the mods why do you want to keep it full weight?

Screw BBR..they build dyno queens. Nothing else. Their cars yet to run what should for the power. Yet also look at build sheet for that number.

I had these mods installed

First
Airaid cai
Pypes long tube headers and x pipe
Hurst short throw shifter

Then
Shaker hood scoop
Procharger
Cams

Then
Spec 3 clutch (blew stock)

Racestar street radials and wheels.

putting about 450 hp to the rear
Ill have to look at dyno sheet again

A FORTUNE

I am an inexperiencing track driver.
Fastest time 12.2 117 mph.

Think with more experience can get into high 11s.

Have not taken her down track yet the the new tires. Hopefully next week.
