Well i saw that the aftermarket cais are pretty much useless as they run the same times with the stock airboxes. How about kn drop in filters?

My airfilter is dirty and i need a new one i figured reusable will save me money in the long run and it only cost me $40 vs retail price.

Wow thats almost worthless. Well i was mainly interested in the reusability of the filter. And i cant find the point to spend $400 on a cai that will net me no time decrease.

Definitely a waste of money. The only reason I run a cai is that there was no way to use the stock airbox when I installed my boss intake mani.

I mean cai not the k&n drop in. It's a good investment since it saves you from replacing filters.

yes you can use the stock box with the boss intake...there is a kit that changes out the tube. I have it on mine and works fine.

Yes, there is a way to do it now. There was NOT when I installed my intake manifold as this kit had not been released yet. That's why I said "there was no way to" in my original post, instead of saying "there is no way."

You know, I have no idea. There are cleaning kits you can buy at wal-mart or parts stores, but I've never used one. I assume they come with instructions...

Are you talking about the reusable filter ? If so, they kits that are for cleaning & oiling the filter. They all have intructions for cleaning them.

The cleaning kits come with instructions. It's like any other filter, clean it when it's dirty (aka when you would replace a paper filter).
