I went today....just got home. I sat in the new GT500. It felt the same as my 11 GT. I'd rather buy a blower for $6,000 rather than buy that for $60k. The only thing I liked better was the short throw Tremec. MGW is my next mod.

You don't need 6k to get blown. About 4200 will get you a vortech or a paxton.

Got to sit in a 09 Ferrari f430 this weekend. Guy even offered to let me drive. But I had way to much to drink. The seats was not very comfy..but felt.like.race seats. felt like being in a race car.

He also owned a new GTR and 09 ZR1.

Re: New York Auto Show Pics 2012

The show was, as always a good time. My 9 year old liked the Lamborghini. I'm grounded and looked at cars regular people can afford.

Being in a ford family I lie the mustang. It's reasonably priced and a great performer and very good looking.

I saw the LFA from Lexus, the Porsche display, I also felt the NSX will be a winner, and built in ohio

The NSX looks and seems it will become a supercharged status as it was before. Half my family works or is retired from Honda in Ohio. Most at the Anna, Ohio plant. Grew up 15 min from it.

The old NSX was an amazing handling car but lackluster hp and torque. The new car uses hybrid technology and will be the cats ***.

Love that it's going to be USA made.

The old nsx did lack brute force. But as you mentioned its handling made up for that. Also it was so light.

I had a 97 Cobra with cold air/tune/off road x pipe/ cat back exhaust/TB/Pulleys. At a light sit me and one. He would look over but gave a Rev. At time I had no clue what one was. It spanked me 3 times. Once from a dig and twice on interstate. Later found out all it had was a tune and cat back. I was like what the hell. This was way back in 2000.

They said it was using front wheel electric motors to get it going. All about performance. The benefit was they could call it a hybrid.

I just read on Acura it was going to be awd. And motor trend said will net roughly 400hp. So does leftlane along with awd some fancy hybrid system..LOL .

Not a single mention of price. I asked at the show. They didn't even have a price range.
