Hub centric rings

I have a 2012 that has an 18" staggered Bullet/ Nitto set on it. I have been working with Chris from AM as i cant get the vibration out of the front end and he suggeted hub centric rings. After reading up on what the rings do it sounds like that is my problem and they will help solve it. Anyone else have experience with these rings?

**Background - wheels came with weights that hit calipers, took and had NTB balance with regular weights, stood behind the tech as he did it and watched him "zero" it out on his machine. Once the wheels are on the car there is a slight vibration still, the vibration changes sometimes, which i didnt understand until reading on another forum that the wheel can actually move slighty while driving hard (never done that ) - hence the need for the rings

Comments/ thoughts welcome................

Re: Hub centric rings

I used to own a maxima and when I upgraded my wheels I had terrible vibration thru my steering wheel. I took the wheels to three different places to get balanced and they couldn't figure it out. I even went so far as buying brand new front tires and come to find out I needed those rings. What happens is the bore on your caliper and on the wheel is not the same size. So no matter how good the wheels are balanced, you will never get rid of the vibration. Anyway, the plastic ones are not that just got to find the right size. I bought mine off ebay a few years ago. GL!
