universal turbo kit

so i was wondering turbo kits on ebay are really really cheap

T3/T4 T3 T4 T04E Universal Turbo Charger Kit+ WASTEGATE + INTERCOOLER+ PIPING | eBay

$550 for the full kit and another $300 for a gt35r turbo. sell the original t3/4 for like $150. $500 for other things like turbo manifold, guages boost controler all can be done for less than $1500.

do you guys think this is worth it? a custom tune is going to be required obviously. i know i still need other stuff other than the kit but do you guys think its doable or am i just gonna be pissed in fustartion dropping a ton of f bombs? i mean its ebay parts so it might just go boom?

im between a cheap turbo kit or a boss intake manifold with dyno tune which isnt as ahem pleasing

Why would you even think a Turbo kit for 1500 would be worth the money? Even POS hellion kits are 6000+.

Re: universal turbo kit

As someone who once scratchbuilt his own twin turbo kit for a Foxstang, expect a million little problems to creep into the build. You'll also need really good pipe fabricating skills if you don't want it to look like *** or crack like an egg when you beat on it.

Cheez, I just looked at you're link and clearly, this is intended for a 4 banger car. You'll be tossing most of the compressor side piping and fabricating the entire exhaust side yourself. Best of luck, unless you're pretty talented. You're wasting $1500 as the turbo is useless and very little of the piping will work. Even what does is aluminum and thin. Better be really good at TIG for that. The IC is too small as well, for this application.

Looks like real expert sales too, "propeller wheel" and what looks like a bar and plate IC not, tube and fin, as described and, seriously, a manual boost controller and fake "Type S" blowoff too small for our application?

OMG

I didn't even read the title or anything anyone posted. I was discussed after I looked at my iPhone before even logging into this app.

Haha

Seriously though for 1500 get full exhaust and a tune!

For 4000 you can buy my blower and all you would need is a tune. It will net you over 600whp.
