Not at all. It's distinctive and sounds very tough. It's not overly loud like the Pypes systems or the SLP Loudmouth systems.

So it sounds good with the windows down and what causes the rattling and is there any other mufflers I should look at. Is the sport or atak better?

It all depends on your taste. I like the throaty muscle car sound so I didn't opt for the atak. I dont notice any droning or anything like that. The Borla kit came on my car when I bought it but if I could have chose a kit, I would have compared the Borla to the Roush and then made a decision.

I had Borla on my 06 GTO about a year ago and they sure do make a great product. It's part of the reason why I chose this mustang with the kit already installed. Take a listen around on YouTube and see what you like.

Its like a slight rattle on the interior panels in the rear... I guess I'm a perfectionist and it makes me curious, as far as the exhaust fitment there's no issues at all I love it. The sport is loud, the Atak is way louder but I heard the they're both quiet in the cabin no crazy drone

Yea roush do sound very nice but I heard after a while they rust from the water build up from condensation... u would be under warranty, but still annoying to think it would happen... I'm think they fixed the issue tho

Me to, I spent 500 total on my custom built midpipe+over axle+ muffler delete. That is from the actual cats all the way to the mufflers for 500 including labor and parts.

I paid 1480 for LT headers, off road x pipe and a cat back on my manual 5.0.

Buddy paid 1500 for his LT's catted x pipe, and cat back all pypes for his 2012 auto.

Ya that's right about where I am if I get headers. After having this custom exhaust I really don't understand why anybody would buy any sort of exhaust unless you just want to spend extra money.

I had same slight rattle and it sounded like it was in interior panels with mine as well, I found it was one hangers on the driverside muffler itself tapping against the bracket, it was hard to find cause it only did it occasionally so I bent it out a little and now its perfect no rattle at all.

Re: Does anyone have a borla exhaust??

My buddy has the borla atak. It sure does sound good. I just couldn't justify the price for borla. I went with the flow master competition. I was going for a somewhat conservative sound. When you get on the gas you can really hear the exhaust rapping. Got it at a good price for only 500$ when list everywhere else is like 800$

I have the Roush with an offroad X and I've been very happy with it. Much cheaper than the Borla system if that's a concern for you. There are videos in my sig of it before and after I installed the offroad X...

Yeah, I have that with my Roush setup. In all fairness, I had this problem with my 2006 V6 and my 2010 GT that had stock exhausts. The interior build quality of these cars is total **** and rattles just happen. At least now I have an exhaust loud enough to overpower them!

What part of them rust? Unless it's the tips I wouldn't worry about it, the rest of the exhaust isn't stainless either ...
