My buddy has one, cheap, does the job, just not a looker. Your not gonna see much of a difference between that and the aluminum steeda. Youll get what u pay for with it.

I personally like the steeda. Looks sharp, with a tune and throttle bottle you can add like 50 hp. C&L is another one, real aggressive look and good performance with the tune. Your going to have to tune your car to get anything other than looks and some sound out of a aftermarket CAI.

CAI is just cold air intake shortened. If your looking for hp u need a tune or if u plan to ever tune it, its cheaper to buy a package. Ur mustang prob comes with a stock CAI so ur not gonna see any mpg gains. The difference between a stock CAI n aftermarket is very minimal.

Yea, honestly if I knew then what I knew now about the cold air intake I probably wouldn't Ben waste my money on one. Sounds good and looks cool but no real gains from it. Stick with tuner and gears and exhaust.

GT500 axlebacks and o/r xpipe

If your into the roush brand the axle backs are worth it. I have them on my 12 GT and im probably biased but i think i sound better than most GTs

Roush is great also, just keep the cats on the vehicle if you get them, otherwise car is SUPER loud

With that all ones tested the airraid showed the best MPH/ET gain..about 1mph and .05 in the 1/4.

Minimal at best 1-2 hp. All the gains are in the tune

What are the differences from tune and CAI to Tune non CAI? It is possible that it just only works in conjunction with a tune?

Most of them require a tune, but yes they have tested both with CAI and without and it has been proven very minimal gains

Seems like pretty much nothing from the 4.6 3Vs applies to the 5.0 4Vs. I wanted one, too. I just couldn't justify the payment after buying my house. I bought my house and car the same month haha.

Yup, on a very basic level it's the same motor, but there's so much different about it it's really not the same

They already have one. If they didnt come stock then you put one on then yes a CAI would deff make a difference.
