Axle backs ate about it though. We had a couple threads on thus recently but they might be on pages 2 or 3 by now.

Yea, if you wanna mod more heavily gotta talk to the dealer and have them install the parts but make sure that you get in writing it will not void warranty. Check out the mr whipped thread. Guy just got a whipple supercharger installed and maintained factory warranty

technically a dealership can void your warranty for just about any reason they want~ just talk to the dealership or find one that is mod friendly. Most little things wont void the warranty though.

What I have been told by dealers is that if you touch it it will void the warranty, that goes for pretty much the whole car.

thats mostly true, a dealer could void your warranty if they felt like it for just about any reason.... valid or not... most are not that hard core but some are. Know the dealership you take the car to for service~

Not really. You pretty much have two options.

1. Leave the car as it came from the factory and hope that the warranty covers any issues that you may have.

2. Modify the car and plan to take responsibility for any breakage related to the modifications.

There are no loopholes, work arounds, or tricks to do here. You mod the car, you lose warranty coverage on the parts affected.

Can they tell if you have tuned it? Does it leave something behind when you flash back the stock tune or something?

Yes, they can, and there is nothing you can do to hide it.
