new best

Well loaded the new tranny tune and went to track to test it out. Last time out with stall and supposed up dated tune with 1500 da went best of 11.1. Well new tranny tune is a lot better. But still has some room to grow. Best pass was a 10.78@126.9 so basically 127. This was in 2600 DA. Correcting for DA and humidity is a 10.64@128.55. Will send data logs off and get it tweaked some more. Next time out will have skinnies on it also and some weight reduction.

Re: new best

Not beatin on ya brad but you were running times close to this in your 11 model with no FI and manual -wasn't you? Not wanting a auto vs. manual debate...LOL! just wondering.I agree on how tough auto is and of course nobody is gonna out run a auto shift.I just will never ever own a DD sports car thats auto again.Love the play and exhaust notes of my manual to much.Hated the G8 b/c it was auto.I would not have another g8 unless it was the GXP manual. On another note ran into a brand new ZL1 yesterday with 20 day tag still.I know he has me covered at this point but still I tried to play and he wouldn't but I respect that. Was not a good safe place to either.I'd love to have my car where it could WELD his door shut! LOL! Nice times there bruh! Keep us posted.

My manual ran best of 11.4 with better air and about 400lbs lighter. And about 7mph slower trap speed.

Remember I have stock headers and suspension yet on the auto with no weight reduction. Manual car had full suspension and full bolt ons with weight reduction.
