Which year V8 should i go for?

Well I got more quotes for the stang' and combining the insurance payment with the dealer charges a month I
Just can't afford it. Can you guys tell me which ford mustang year to go for? Anything under the 2010 model so basically the 2009-2005 models. Yeah do which model V8 should I go for please respond as quickly as possible I'm heading to the dealer this week. Is there a difference between the '08 and '09
Model when it comes to design? I keep reading that the 2009 model is more Retro than any of the previous models...please help!

Re: Which year V8 should i go for?

05-09 are the same for the most part... Ford made some minor changed throughout those years, but they all have the same V8 motor, but when is newer not better? If have the funds for any 05-09 GT then why not go for the 09??

Oh, except 2009 is the 45th anniversary so that bumps up the value a little bit... And you get a some extra badging because of it.

Re: Which year V8 should i go for?

2007 and up are some of the best Mustangs produced. I'd avoid 2005 first model year, those seem to have a lot more issues.

Just wait till can get the 2011+. DOn't waste the money on the 05-10. You will regret it in the long run.

I'd say save a little more money too and get a 5.0 The 05-10 cars have plenty of power, but your gona want more.

Agreed. Our 5.0's make as much power as a well modded 05-10. It was Sooo tempting for me to get an 05-10 for me too but in the end I'm glad I held out for the 11

Damn straight I did! She kept on pushing and pushing the issue... so I finally told her lets go to the farm! My tramps bought some land that has an old public blacktop road on it. BUT NOW IT IS OWNED BY THE FAMILY SO IT IS NOT CONSIDERED STREET RACING! we lined them up and I beat her by 4 car lengths (we have the road marked 60ft 1/8 and 1/4) its a half mile of blacktop but of course you need room to stop... unless you want to be grazing with the cattle when it dead ends!

Holy ****... I HATE auto correct! I meant to say my Grandpa! Not tramps! How the hell did it get that?

Ehhhhh its far away from where we live, and the pavement is starting to crumble, so in a few more winters I won't want to run on it!

Plus its really narrow... I think results would have been a lot closer if we were at a real track

That's great! My mom wouldn't do that in a million years.

Well I'm going in to see a 2006 black on red ford mustang. It's right within my price range with insurance and such. I think it'll be a great car until I can get something better like the 5.0
It's a GT premium with the leather seats and such (I'll know a lot more tomorrow.) what should I look out for with this model like the pros and cons?? Thanks again for the amazing responses. Oh and by the way I'm just a kid lol it would cost me a few kind and a bit more to get a 11' or 12'. All though Jesus I wish I could have it but I think I'll be thankful for any GT I get lol no V6 for me.

The 07-10 are great cars, the 4.6s are solid engines. They might not be a power house like the coyote and you'll dream of one but there are good deals to be had on the old bodystyle and you still get the Retro car look!

And slow compared to a tune only 5.0...hell even some stock ones. And that's if you have a supercharged one.
