Blinking Cel and then stopped blinking on my 2012 mustang gt with less then 400 miles

Hey guy I am new to the Mustang game and I was wondering what a blinking CEL means and then it shut off like 30 seconds later. so I am wondering what it means? I have heard that it means a misfire and if it if a misfire how serious is this. On a side note the car runs perfectly fine.

When does it occur? I had a similar incident. Mine occurred within 10 minutes of driving after a cold start. Took it to the dealer, turned out be a crankshaft sensor. Just take it to the dealer and see if it threw a code.

Blinking is usually a misfire, it's warning further damage can and will occur, cats will get stopped up damage to O2 sensors etc....

Take it in. Usually misfire as above. Did you hit limiter? Could be that, sensor, bad injector, spark plug, pcm.

+1 on what everyone else said, get it back to the dealership ... like yesterday!
