Great blower. I suggest getting tune from VMP.

I've heard a lot of good about VMP. I'm just stuck between this kit and vortech stage 2.

I would choose paxton/roush over vortech.

Re: Roush TVS2300

I woudl go with the paxton then. Even on teh street it will be deadly. Plus always more room to grow. The Paxton blower is capable of 1000whp and the roush isn't. Get the paxton then later exhaust/boss. YOu can get the paxton for right around 4000 or so complete kit.

I think Roush looks cleaner plus you can get up to 750 hp from it. That's more than enough for street

Re: Roush TVS2300

After having both kinds, my vote is Roush for stock like drivability, but they do cost more. Mine is tuned by Brenspeed.... Im pushing around 550 right now will prob max out around 600 and thats all i want, Mine is my DD...

Re: Roush TVS2300

If you ask KB you can run 18lbs boost on a stock engine and run 9's. With nothing else. Look at these threads and see how they back track on everything. And forget to state facts like race gas and what not till called out on it.

VMP made a 69MM pulley for the Roush. That has taken a quite a few cars into the 9's. To include his wifes car.

RWHP? And have you made any engine beefing up of components to handle more HP?

So you have the 624 HP kit on the 2300? And that puts 550 to the rear wheels?
