Question on dyno numbers

I have a 2011 5.0 with a boss intake manifold, jlt carbon fiber CAI, and bama 91 octane race tune. When the car was on the dyno it made great hp gains, 433rwhp. But for some reason my torque seemed a lot lower than I was expecting. I know there is torque loss with the boss manifold mod but I was expecting the torque to be a lot higher. A lot of other guys' torque numbers were higher. Mine was 342rwtq. Any good mods to help torque? Thanks all!

I see, very cool. Any mods to help torque at all? It's a daily driver so like the above statement saying nitrous prolly isn't the best idea. Lol

Those are high umbers for a mustang dyno. They always read lower. DOn't get caught up in dyno numbers. Take it to a track and see if it rusn as good as it should. With 433whp it should run mid 11's.

Also to add some wtq LT's with a off road x pipe. Nitrous is cheap way as well. Blower adds power everwhere.

+1 on this. Strong numbers for sure, but really all a dyno is useful for is calculating the power delta on a same day between modifications. There is almost no practical value in a random dyno number since there are hundreds of variables that affect the outcome.

Another +1 here. I didn't go with full headers but putting an offroad X-pipe on my car really opened things up with the Boss IM.
