Don't be worried, you're warranty will cover any problems. If you can learn how to replicate it, they can fix it. It may just be a one time
Thing or a certain setting in the tune, my 2012 likes to think I'm losing traction for no reason and starts cutting out power to the engine... Pretty scary the first time it happened. You're cars fine enjoy it!

I had no faith in the new automatic. Had to get the manual. The first year for something new like the selectashift thing is surely a test. Good lick though, i hope they sort it out for you

No faith in auto? Have you seen all the issues with the manual. And then how the auto is holding up.

I agree, i have seen the issues. I have not experienced any myself. But you cant help but be a little sckeptical when they introduce something like the new auto. Especially if your going to try and make power through it.

The manual was new too, your argument is invalid on that point. As someone who has experienced and seen the manuals in their finest form, I wish I had bought an auto some days...

Everything is new at some point, agreed. And there is some days i wish i had ordered a auto. But for the money they wanted to upgrade to the auto, i would much rather put a built auto in, or build a new manual if something were to happen. I have no faith in warranty work.

Guys all over are having issues with manuals. And so many are trading in for auto's. Or figuring out what to do to swap transmissions. Fastest stock manual mt82 is 10.20. Fastest stock auto is 8.9. You do the math. Which one is better. I think that auto's with select shift and/or paddle shifters is the future. Look at all the high end cars. 95% you can't even get in a manual nowadays.

This. If Ford did like GM and put auto in their high HP mustang aka ZL1 and GT500. I would have had s GT500 when trading my '11 5.0. Instead got an auto 5.0. GM offers manual and an auto. Great job. Hope Ford follows suite. That is biggest plus for ZL1

I think they already came out with a swap kit, our mt82 doesn't have an impressive rating, hopefully it's highly underrated

Yes, it was released very recently. There is a guy over on AFM that has already done the swap.

How much is the swap and what is the gear ratio of the stock trans? I'm selling my house next year and I'm making a lot off of it so I will have some extra cash for a power adder and trans.

Trans swap is a little over 5000. Comes with everything needed. Look at jpc. They carry it.

Oh ok I didn't know they had it I know Hurst is going to have it but there was no price on the site but I am really want to do this. Are the gear ratios the same? Or close? Just wondering if I should keep the 331s
