The new CJs will have offer the 5.0 n/a engine or FI. This intake is for the n/a.

Yeah that's what the cobra jet is isn't it. Not trying to be a smart*** or anything.

If remember right the CJ isn't drive by wire like us. It has a throttle cable.

Well this is my first Mustang. Most of my previous vehicles have been 4x4's. So forgive me if I don't know all the abbreviations. I'm learning. I actually thought cj meant cobra jet but did not know if Ford had drag car or just the name for a crate motor.

Oh, okay. I'm not sure about these cars, but couldn't you put a drive by wire TB on it? Or at least make an adapter to put one on.

I'm pretty sure there will be drive by wire kit when it comes out, but we need specs on this intake like max rpm and power band...

The cobra jet has some different cams and stuff. The power is only rated at like 325hp. But its said is making like 500whp. The other cobra jets are same way. The 5.4 with the 4.0l Whipple is rated at like 600hp but actually makes over 1000hp.

I'm talking when used the 5.4..they are way under rated. Even the new platforms are.
