Any Former Camaro 2SS owners here ?

Going from a 2SS model any regrets going with a Mustang GT w/Premium Pkg ?
Looks like the interior has a little less room also storage space from the Camaro also is there anything after a week of driving and you said crap i really miss this option from the Camaro. Not sure what else like the title says how was the transition to the Mustang ?

Thanks...

Im not a camaro owner but I have driven the new ones and I have to say the interior of one is inferior to that of the mustang premium and the mustang has more overall space inside than that of the camaro and challenger. I was going to get a camaro or a challenger til I drove all 3 once I drove a 5.0 I couldn't even think of the the other 2

You can actually see out the back window on a mustang.. I personally hate the interior in the camaros.. The only thing cool is the gauges but they are in a terrible spot..

Nope. I've never owned a camero but my buddy has a '10 SS. He was bustin my balls for about three months because he knew I wanted a mustang. When I first bought my mustang (base model) he would joke with me calling my car the Honda of muscle cars, until... I blew the stripes off his hood from a dead stop. Giving him a head start did not help him at all. Now all I hear is how he's gonna trade his camero for a Boss and if he had known the Boss was coming out in '12 he woulda never bought a camero.

My brother has a black 10 SS automatic, bone stock. I've modified my 12 GT premium a bit with x-pipe, Boss intake manifold, Steeda tune and CAI along with some Eibach springs. Let me tell you, NOT even close! Straight line or curvy road, sorry little brother, see ya' I love my GT

I like the looks of the Camaro, but that's about where it ends. My buddy has one and it's not easy to see out of, I almost feel like I was riding in an MRAP with all of the blind spots. I've also raced a few at the track. With similar or even slightly better mods on the camaro and comparable drivers it's still not close

Re: Any Former Camaro 2SS owners here ?

Does it help the last Camaro I owned was a 1970 SS? I loved that car, was going to fully restore it but, I wrecked it instead.

This'll wind ya up good, the last F-body I owned was a 1974 Trans Am with a transplanted 1970 GTO 400 under the hood...that's one way to fix an emissions car

It's ok, I've had 4 Mustangs as well...loved all of them, in their time.

Kicker Audio is pairing up with ford with in the next year or two and will be making the sound systems for them, I own a kicker system and they are the best sounding system
I've ever heard.
I know this because my uncle works for kicker.

Great news! I know kicker makes the kicker 500 and 1000 systems now too but the Boston acoustics systems in the Camaros are to die for!

Well latter today I should know if I'll be buying or not, I'm waiting on the dealer to call me back again with there out the door price including my trade wich we have come to a dollar amount already. I'm not looking to finance no more then $31000.00 for this 2012 Pemuim Auto with the 401A, Pkg.

I test drove a fully loaded Camaro before purchasing my Mustang GT and there are several improvements over the Camaro, most noticeably the blind spots in the Camaro are a nightmare. That was one of the main reasons I didn't buy one.

When the camaro came out I was all about it. When it was finally time to get it the 5.0 was back too. I test drove the camaro first hated the interior many blind spots. When I test drove the mustang I knew that was the car for me
