I had 12% all around on my car for about a week. Then the state boys decided it was too dark. Towards the end of the month they'll pull you over for anything. Then the cop had the nerve to ask me if my car was fast. I told him it faster then his. Good luck and just roll them down whenever you see Johnny Law.

State troopers pulled me over because he thought i didnt have a front plate which i didn. I had my windows rolled down he made me roll them up and gave me a window tint ticket.

Got a tint ticket in my 2000 gt. Said he saw me from across the intersection. Told my wife in a not so discrete voice "It must suck to be a jealous person" Ticket came out real quick after that.

Man that sucks... I evaded tickets from having limo tint all the way around for 3yrs . The day I had to take them off I decided to buy a new tint from auto zone and installed them myself for $14

Got 15% on my 2011 all the way around. Got pulled over at 2am in Florida for it. Give me a break, it was just an excuse. 75 south in a fast car u gotta be running drugs. Haha Course being a cop helped. That's why I don't stop people with illegal tint. A hypocrite I am not. The day I'm perfect and don't speed etc. is the day ill write tickets. I do have a 5.0 after all.

I just don't believe in busting balls for the same stuff I'm guilty of. I'm one of the few cops who really don't like cops. Haha.

I was a cop for 10 years and honestly never wrote a tint ticket since I had illegal tint (even though it was legal for me to have it). I had a waiver on my previous mustang but was still stopped frequently. On my new one I just got, I went with 45% ceramic and am pretty happy with it. It blocks out more heat than 5% standard tint and I can actually see out the back window when I need to back up! I will say that it does not look as good as say 20%.
