Doesnt seem quite right...

Last time I was out at the track I was running 13.80's stock(8000+ DA) now I have the boss intake, tune and x pipe..... Best run was 13.7.... I think something might be wrong with my tune... I'm going to data log on the way home and send it in.

I also think my tune is running rich because it misfires and back fires every once and a while...
Feels strong just not running the numbers.

Any ideas?

8000da is horrible to run in. What was da on 13.7? Trap on both? Shift points with boss? Gears in car?

---------- Post added at 03:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:51 PM ----------

Is the back fire after you Rev and get off it? If so normal.

Lol yeah I hate this altitude.
Da was the same. the stock 13.8 was @ 104
With boss intake shifting at 7700-7800. The 13.7 was @ 106 so I know I've gained power just doesn't feel like enough.

That one thing hurting you is the gears with the boss. What was 60ft on each pass? Trap shows it gained for sure.

---------- Post added at 04:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:27 PM ----------

The 13.8@104 corrected is a 12.44@115

The 13.7@106 is 12.31@117.

That's another thing hurting me... 60ft is 2.3 haha (don't laugh guys) when stock launching at 3k was perfect got 2 60ft but with the boss i launched at 3k and bogged, launched at 4k and spun like a mofo... In the staging lanes now, going to try 3500 launch. And again I'm on stock pirellis...

Practice makes perfect. I was able to get done to 12.6 bone stock. 12.2 with nothing but slicks. Buddy ran 12.1 with slicks only..he managed a 12.5 stock every thing. We started at 5pm and stopped running at 1am.

That still seems a little high for my mods(boss xpipe and tune) maybe because no 3.73 and definitely because no slicks....

Maybe I'm just wishing my car is faster than it is lol

Its the horrible 60ft. Some slicks would help a lot. Then once get them and it sticks do 5000-6000 clutch dumps. Pull front sway bar.

I ran stock clutch. But always great idea to upgrade. Ram twin disc with aluminum flywheel. Lca's are always good. Upr/bmr solids.

So my goal is to run next to my buddy's chevelle running 12.0's. Am I going to have to go FI for this or what would be the best way to get there? At my altitude it's hard to get that fast.
