Why do you want them? Do you autocross? I thought about getting the brembo kit for my car but when I really think about it I'm almost always very easy on the brakes anyways and feel like a mod like that would be a waste.

If you're going for aesthetics then by all means get them but most people don't need that much braking power

As he stated, they're pretty but for racing blanks actually work best. I have them on my car though

Then go for it! Just make sure the lug pattern is correct and the rotor diameter is the same and you should have zero issues

---------- Post added at 05:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:20 PM ----------

Those rotors will eat up brake pads faster

Re: Rotors

you might get a whirring noise with light brakeing until rotors warm up & cross drilled & slotted rotors can't be cut ( refinished )

Dont care for music in the car. Exhaust is what i listen to. Didnt know they couldn't be resurfaced. How quick will they wear out? How bout the pads? How long can i expect them to last? Sorry for the stupid questions but i love the look of those rotors but dont wanna go broke replacing pads and rotors all the time.

Ok ok ok. I value everyones opinion on here. You guys have taught me a lot. Im just lookin for an inexpensive mod that wont void my warranty. Seems like every mod i want requires me to tune. May just forget the rotors a put a little extra $and get the mgw.

I have slotted and drilled rotors up front and a Baer upgraded 14 in drilled and slotted on the back.

---------- Post added at 07:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:47 AM ----------

200 for just the rotors up front and 500 for the upgraded brackets and rotors for the back wheels. I am OCD and had to balance the front and backs.

Re: Rotors

I would not say that blanks are better for autocross or performance braking.... My M3 came stock with CD rotors so they must not be that bad. That car was made specifically for road courses.

Re: Rotors

I also have put drilled and slotted rotors on my car- a 2011 GT M6 (non-Brembo). I really did it for aesthetics, the Steeda Spyder rims I have on my car really allow the brakes to show through and for the $400 I have in these rotors, I really think my whole car looks better...

Does look nice ... where did you get the "blank" center caps? I'm dying to get rid of the "American Muscle" ones that came with my wheels (love AM but hate being a mobile advertisement for anyone).

Those rotors are nice. I'd like to upgrade mine to some drilled/slotted rotors down the road. Not a priority right now but eventually..

Those are the center caps that came with the Steeda Spyder rims. they are actually not blank but have the Steeda logo on them.
