Boss 302 Steering Wheel

Does anyone know if the 2011-2012 Boss 302 steering wheel will work with the 2013? I'm sure the steering wheel is the same, but I know the 2013 have the 5 buttons on the left to control the track apps, etc.

I was thinking that too, the 2013 has like a directional pad thing right?

Maybe, but i think it would def work with non-premium mustangs because they dont have the d-pad

I have a non-premium 2010 GT, and just installed a 2013 premium wheel (D pad) today (roughly 2 hours ago). None of the buttons work for the 2010 (all the old wheel had was cruise), so I believe there is a definite re-wire required to make it work. Once I figure out how, I will post it, unless a ECU re-flash is required, but I was expecting cruise to work, and didn't expect the D pad or audio controls to do anything without a flash.

....just some observations by a new guy.

Re: Boss 302 Steering Wheel

it will work I bet, but the buttons may or may not as far as that goes. I know on my 2011 I can only hook up the cruise as thats all I have

I put a boss 302 steering wheel on my 2010 gt and I had to get a boss vin off eBay and have the dealer reflash the ACM to get the stereo buttons to work. With these cars it's the Audio Control Module that controls everything. Not a rewire. Basically they have to reprogram the car for what entertainment equipment is installed. I found most of my knowledge about on themustangsource forum. If I can find the thread I will.

Also, I'm not sure about the D pad. My boss wheel just came with cruise and the basis stereo buttons vs the base gt wheel...just cruise
