I usually pick it up on the news stand, but I've been meaning to grab a sub. I always enjoy their articles and pictures, so it's worth a few bucks to me.

Im curious if a sub includes the iPad sub too though...

Typically you have to choose one or the other. A digital sub or the regular by mail paperback version. Some companys allow you to change back and forth, but it some cases it will cause you not to receive your paper copy on time. Digital is the way to go, imo. I have so many stacks of mags from several subs over the years i cant part with, but i never seem to go back and look at them once they have been read cover to cover.

Hmm, I have found the opposite to be true. Usually you can punch some numbers in from the sticker on your subscription and that gives you access to the digital content. Usually the digital version does. It include the physical version though.

I had subscriptions to both 5.0 and MMFF sent to my iPad. Digital is the way to go if you ask me. I love having all my issues readily available, especially when I travel.

I had it on my iPad I just recently changed to hardcopy. I don't get both one or the other. The digital version isn't much cheaper. They didn't offer both.

IDK ... it's a lot easier to hold a magazine when you're taking a steamy **** than an ipad, and that's the only time I read magazines.

Do you ever find good deals? I have magazine subs to 5.0&SF, MM&FF, C&D, R&T, Autoweek and Popular mechanics. Didn't pay more than $5/year for most of them but the digital editions I've seen are all around $15/year for the same content (that's usually available for free on the website anyways)

My offers were either 20 dollars a year for the paper version or 15 dollars for the digital versions. I have never seen a subscription to those magazines for only 5 dollars. They throw free magazines at u trying to draw interest to other subscriptions but you find some deals occasionally.

5.0 and mmff are the only two ive never gotten a great deal on. Most the others were $1 for 1 year. Paid 26 for 2 years of 5.0 Nd 1 yr of mmff, comes out to $8.67 per year which isn't too bad.

I have sub via snail mail. I like having copies on hand to flip through or show my buddy who is a Chevy guy.
