Reverse backup sensor-Gauge Light

New 8 days old '13 Mustang Manual Trans. GT/Premium.
My first problem. Hope it's the first and last.

My Reverse Backup Sensor Is On Light stays on constantly now. For the first week it would light up on the dash gauge panel when trans was in reverse gear and then turn off and go back to the previous setting when shifted out of reverse, which of course is what it's supposed to do.

Now it stays on all the time. Anyone have this problem yet or can I say "Here we go" with what is going to be a problemic car on my hands.

If it makes you feel better when I picked up my 12 the dealer said it came in with a faulty advancetrac module. Drove it off the lot with the advance track light on. Had it replaced and have not had any other problems with it.

Re: Reverse backup sensor-Gauge Light

Thanks for listening and Thanks for sharing your experience and no problems after the fix. I will sleep a little better tonight. I will call on Dealer on Monday and see what they say. OF COURSE, "Could not duplicate the problem". We shall see...

Thank You Again, GREG3
