Yes you can. The width is about 10.8 inches for the tire. It just may bulge a little on the 9 rim.

Yes but the ones on the 10.5s will look kinda silly.. Needs at least a 305

I ran 315s on my 17x10.5s on my 04 GT

Re: tire questions for the tire guru's

275s fit on 9" wheels perfectly for the most part, but 10.5 is going to be way too wide for a 275. Why did you get staggered wheels if you want to run the same size tire on all four corners?

You could do it temporarily, won't hurt anything, it'll look kinda funny though, but do what you gotta do, your car and money... If you don't mind sharing how cheap is "cheap"?

That does seem cheap for 20s... I wish I had $400 to throw away on tires I didn't need though! If I were you, I would just wait until you can get the appropriate tire. Just my 2c

Tire brand will dictate the 'perfect fit' I feel. I have 275 on my 10 inch wheel and there is 0 stretch and 0 bulge. It is flush. For a 9 inch rim 255 is recommended although 275 WILL fit.

I have 255/275 going on and neither look silly nor undersized. That may be specific to Nitto 555 as it seems some tires look wider or thinner in the same sizes.

Would a half inch more wheel stretch the 275 THAT much more?

Yes, but I don't think there are any 275s that will fit perfectly on a 10.5" rim. What 275s are you running on a 10" rim? Nittos do definitely run on the narrow side, but they also post detailed recommendations as to what rim width to use on their website (not all tire manufacturers do this or make it easy to find).

Nitto 555 tires.

Here are some pics. Clickable thumbnails.

Looks flush to me, I dunno' haha

Again, I had missed the 10.5 so yes, 275 may look a little stretched on a 10.5 and thus reduce your foot print for traction which is the purpose of wider tires.

I had 10.5s and had a 275 and a 285 b4 I finally got 315s.. Im not exaggerating the 275s and 285s looked ridiculous.. Stretched really badly.. Nittos have the rim protector built in so they actually look a lil wider on the wheel bc of that.. Just did a set of 18x10s w 275/40 555s.. Seemed to look just fine although I thought they would look stretched out..

That is my exact size. 255 40 on 18x9 up front and 275 40 18x10 out back
