Loudest/Aggressive Axle Back

What is the loudest my aggressive axle back for a 13' GT? I would still like it to be tamed and able to hold and conversation in the cab. Also quiet it down enough for the cops, if I need to But something were when I hammer the throttle, everyone is going to know for the next 2 miles. Any and all suggestions.

You can go to a muffler shop and have them do a muffler delete. I had mine done for $120 total. If not the Pypes is your best bet.

How is anyone's experience with the Roush axle back? Loud enough? Good quality over all?

They're good. Personally I'd take Flowmaster Outlaws over them. Just as loud, deeper and doesn't get raspy in the upper Rpms like the Roush tend to do.

How are they raspy? Is there drone in the outlaws? and what are "cats" exactly? Ive heard if you remove them, your car becomes significantly louder!

Outlaws?? Absolutely there is drone!! Cats are catalytic converters, and yes they will make your car wayyyyyy louder without them, make sure you can pass any necessary emissions tests though. Raspy, like NASCAR, the traditional muscle car is more of a deep rumbling sound

From everyone I've talked to the outlaws aren't real bad with drone. Not like the American Thunders. The outlaws are made more like the Roush mufflers actually. You cant go with the Roush or Outlaws.

I haven't heard much of a drone in mine it's catless with Stainless works exhaust. And who cares if it drones.... Not this guy. Now I do have an old 86 chevy truck that has headers and series 40 flow masters that turn downs before the axle. When you step in my truck there is no conversations. Older vehicles lack sound dreading materials unlike this car.

GT500 AB w/ O/R piping...semi conservative until you get on it, then it screams. Quality sound, not just noise.

They seem to have more of the mustang sound from what I've heard in videos.. As I said I'm kinda used to the drone but after 10 years it's starting to wear on me.. And honestly the gt500s are what I've wanted all three of my stangs to sound like..

I was absolutely blown away by how good they sound, how loud they are outside of the car and how quiet it is inside the car all at the same time for at least 3 wks

I like my hushpower flow master cat back. I found a new system on eBay for 385.00 shipped and took under an hour to install. A few months later I bought some electric cut outs and welded them in. So now when I wanna make some noise, I flip a switch and open header she goes. If I'm driving through the neighborhood I'll shut them to keep my neighbors for complaining. I love the sound of both, as do all the people that hear it. The cuts out I also found in eBay for 200.00 shipped.
