Roush supercharger warranty

Does their warranty add on to yours? Like said I have 2 years left on my car and they have 3 years and i get it now does it add an extra year to my factory? Or is it just your factory warranty

Re: Roush supercharger warranty

My thoughts are that your factory warranty and the supercharger warranty are completly different. Roush will warranty the supercharger and the rest 2 years left on your factory warranty. My guess!

Why would you think that an aftermarket part will add another year to your factory warranty?

Because I don't know of its 3 years of their warranty or just what's left on fords? Being that it's their product I dont know how it works never had it done before. I spoke to ford though ad they said the roush is only warrantied if installed by ford.

The roush warranty will cover the blower and your engine. The warranty starts once install is complete. But the warranty is only good if installed on a stock car. No exhaust, no pulley change, and the tune that comes with it. No custom dyno tune.

Re: Roush supercharger warranty

Roush explained it to me: as it coverers though you factory; i.e. if you 30k left thats what they will cover. You drop ship to them then you should have you stock warranty. I remember they do not go over 3 years or 30k regardless.

That's what I was going to do is just install it on my car stock. Once warranty is gone then I will do exhaust etc.

Re: Roush supercharger warranty

I had a Rouscharger installed on my 2012GT a few weeks and here's the thruth about the warranty.

The kit that are labeled as 540hp come with a 3yr warranty if pcm is programmed by Roush and installed by certified tech. All powertrain is warrantied.

Tuner kit only have a 1 yr warranty on the supercharger itself

Now,

The 575hp kit just came out and yes it has a basic warranty with it but if you want the full 3yr warranty for the powertrain it will cost you 375$ more.

The 3yr start with the delivery of the car not the date of the supercharger install.

I have just purchased the upgrade kit from 540 to 575 hp which is supposed to give better low end torque and throttle response and got it for 325$ from Roush after negotiation.

This upgrade kit maintains my 3yr powertrain warranty.....if i stop modding my car....

BTW i am really mot happy with the result of the 540kit with the Roush tune so lets hope that the upg kit is better or i'll tell warranty bye bye..

The dealer said for the 540 horse it's 8100 in Canada. But he said the 540 and 575 is the same in price with labour. Don't know how that works but it's what he showed me.

It's because there aren't more parts, just different ones that increase the power

Re: Roush supercharger warranty

When i received the upgrade kit all there was is a 85mm pulley, a shorter belt and a Fedex box to ship back the pcm to Roush to get the revised tune.

My pcm should be back today or tomorrow so i'll let you know soon if the upg pack is worth it for those that bought the 540hp kit.

Also,

I'm in Canada too (Qc) and the price i paid installed by a Ford dealer is 7500$ all taxes incuded with a Roush boost gauge and Roush hood decals. This included the 3yr warranty.
