2012 Mustang GT Break in

I just got my 2012 GT. I heard two different ways of how you should break it in. Basically, one is go nice and easy and the other is too pretty much have a lead foot and drive the car the way you want it to preform. Id like to be rough with the break-in but I'm afraid of causing engine damage. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks

I left the dealership flat on the floor. And broke it in that way. Changed the oil at 3 or 5,000mi. I can't remember. I've always broke in my vehicles that way. And most of the time they've seemed to run a little better than the same kind of vehicle that was babied.
