3" or 2.75" Catback?

I pick up my 2013 mustang gt in November. I plan on making it a track car. I'm stuck between the borla s type Catback which is 2.75" and the magnaflow competition 3" Catback. What difference does the .25" make?

You will love the Borla s type! But if your planning on making more than 500 hp then they also make a 3 inch version.

Sweet. Thanks for the quick responses. Ya I love the sound of the borla s type but I want a 3" system. I can't seem to find any videos of the 3" borla. Does it sound much different from the regular one?

It says "I pick up" not "picked up". Sounds like he's pre-shopping I could be wrong though, that's just how I read it.

They don't have videos of the 3 inch system because it sounds exactly the same. And if your not making more than 500hp then don't get the 3 inch....there testing has showed that the car runs better with the proper backpressure...that's why they kept the 2.75 piping.

If you're gonna make it a track car I would look at full exhaust, starting with LT's and xpipe

If i was to make a full track car... like mentioned earlier.

-Long tubes
coupled to a custom X to straight pipe exhaust from a trusted muffler shop
