A few more mods. What do you think?

Just had borla catback s type put on. I have the 2013 gt premium with 3.55 gears, brembo brakes. I'm not a track guy. Only time I can get into 6th is highway and 2 back roads by my house. So I was just thinking of tinting the windows, quarter window louvers, rear seat delete and possible a CAI and tune. What do you guys think?

Yes! That list looks like mine except I have already got the tint and I'm still having trouble on deciding which exhaust. How do the borlas sound?!

Yea I bought my 08 gt brand new then they came out with the 5.0. I was like damn! So I paid my 08 down and had money from my recent deployment to Afghanistan. So I got the '13 gt 5.0. No video yet! Thanks! You have a sweet ride to. Actually they are calling it deep impact blue. Its one of the new colors for '13. The other is green. I'm kinda so/so about stripes.

I would save money for something else and not do CAI. Sounds like a good starter list thought. I would say look for exhaust and wheels also, then lower that mother sucker

I feel the same way on stripes. Hit or miss. Mine is waiting to have a make over. Make sure you put a video up when you can! And the blue is gorgeous, I love mine to death but I'm IN love with the blue 5.0s.

Re: A few more mods. What do you think?

Would love to see a video cause I'm still debating on Roush Axle backs and Borla s! Also what grabber said about the CAI. Wait another year for that type of upgrade. From what I read from many others that changing the CAI now with New CAI's now won't do much in the performance. I say wait another 6 Months maybe something better might come out! I'm going same route as you!

Lower center of gravity will help cornering. Springs aren't too much. Luckily I worked at a shop when I did it so there was zero install fee.

Bought mine from LRS, got the SVE springs which are the FRPP p springs, $100 when I bought them

And it just looks mean!!

If you drop more than an inch you will need other parts

The Borla catback already has an x pipe.

Do you have any problem with speed bumps or driveways? That's what I'm most concerned with.

That was a huge concern for me and is a big part of the reason I chose to only drop an inch... To answer your question, no, no issue at all

---------- Post added at 09:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:47 PM ----------

Just take your time over speed bumps and in driveways... I wouldn't ever wanna find out if it was too low just because I'm going to fast

Definitely, I'll look into it because that was all I was concerned with. And you said just for an inch it's $100 for parts?
