Well a good start would be exhaust axle backs at least just to get a little more growl from it. Otherwise lowering is another good mod, short throw shifter, or if you want to go body mods there is a large amount to choose from on American muscle. You also have to ask yourself how my h you care about the warranty because if you don't you can go ahead and tune it.

Re: Modifications???

do you want to keep the warranty or not? you cant do very much and expect to keep it~ but even so there are a few little things you can do perhaps. Most visual of course.

Could he get a tuner, but flash back the stock tune when he plans to take it to the dealer?

He can put it back to stock but if anything serious happens and they sent off his ECM to Ford they could tell if it had a tune ever installed. Pretty much all the ECMs in everything from cars to semi's have data logging built into the ECM now.

No doubt. Or I'd tune mine. I'm waiting on a secondary vehicle before I get mod heavy.

It doesn't even matter with that either they have flight recorded like boxes in them. Let's for know exactly what km it's been redlined and governed and when something has been plugged into the ecu. They don't really care though most dealers
Cause boss 302 pretty much all f those has been on a track the only time they will actually do something is if it's expensive and engine related.

True. But as has been said before it all depends on the dealer. Some will push the issue some could care less.

jellybean82881,

Congratulations on picking up a 13'!

We have a Gotta Have It Green 2013 as a shop car, before we even took the window sticker off we installed a CAI & Tune! The Car laid down 401RWHP with nothing but those mods, If that's not impressive I don't know what is!

I would highly recommend throwing a Cold Air Intake & Tune on the car to get the modding started! Then I would go with a Catback or Axle Back Exhaust!

With that set up, you will be sitting on about 415 RWHP & Sound bad ***! (Then from there you can decide how deep into modding your 13' you want to go!)

We obviously understand the big controversy with warranty's. Most Ford dealerships won't really bother you about it, Mainly because in order to void your warranty they have to pin point your modifications caused the problem.

To be sure, before you purchase anything you can check with your local ford dealership & get there idea on things.

I hope this helps! Remember this is just my recommendation!

Hit me up if you have any questions!

- Dan

Believe their numbers. And look to real world of people running them. With real world numbers and issues also. They made claims of 600whp with 5lbs on single kit which someone on here can tell you didn't happen. There kits for the 5.0 suck. Plain and simple.

Here is a proven kit. Here are real numbers and this kit has been street and track tested.

Shows boost as well. Stock engine as well.

Who ran that? Hellion has yet to run any of there cars.

Lundracing has ran there car and it went low 10's on stock engine. Low 9's built engine.

Bbr car. It had a modified hellion kit that had procharger piping and intercooler. Plus a 200 shot of nitrous. It made 950whp. Didn't make one pass for track part of competition.

So again believe hellions hype if you want. Few have had the kit single kit and pulled back off because of issues.

It wasn't a new 5.0. They had a collection of cars not just 5.0's.

Paxton or Roush Kit. Paxton sounds nasty and you can make more power in the long run if you want. Up to 1000hp with the Paxton, bout 750hp with roush. I was stuck trying to decide but went with the Paxton bc it's cheaper, sounds better, and is easier on the motor as a daily driver.
