| Leathal prefirmance off road x pipe
Is it a direct bolt up? Or will I need to have it welded in?

It's currently welded into my exhaust system so that's not possible.
Pros- lighter than stock cats
- hasn't rusted yet
-direct bolt on
Cons- looks like a two year old welded it together-biggest gripe
-metal scraps still in exhaust
-Oil all over pipes when I got it
I cleaned the pipes in the parts cleaner, then dried it off and welded the point where the two halfs of the X meet

I have the lethal offroad x and had very little issue with mine. Only problem was bolts given to me for the one side that needs to be bolted (drivers side?) weren't long enough and I had to get my own.
Tips - PB blaster or something similar and lots!! (Bare minimum 2ft of extensions, I used probably 3) to get the passenger side cats bolts out.

I cleaned the pipes in the parts cleaner, then dried it off and welded the point where the two halfs of the X meet | So all the issues with it came from the installer and not the part itself

It was easy to install all my bolts lined up fine

I won't have the time to install everything on fri so I may have to wait | I just installed the O/R X-Pipe .Of course," you have to have a tune". You could drive it and just throw a code, but IMO it's not all that smart and I would personally not do that. I Had the tune for it and my other mods already in my SCT before I even went to the lift to do the job. Be sure to have some ZEP or PB.I would go ahead and hit the 4 nuts and the 02's now. Then when you get ready to do it,Spray some more on all the spots. If you are a man who has plenty of tools, like I fortunately do, since I am a Independent Mobile automotive tool man for a living,I would use 1/2" drive to get it off. 20'' extentions will be ok,but 24" is better. If not you can do it with 3/8 drive stuff. You for sure need swivel's (sockets) 15mm.You need a O2 sensor socket, but if you don't have one,you surely got a good wrench that will do it.Be careful with them. You don,t want to cross thread when you install in your new O/R X.Careful removing.I recommend Un-plug them then take them on out.
As for putting your new pipe on......I would use bolts that are 1-1/2".I would use a washer on each side and a lockwasher before throwing the nut on.Probably be using 14mm on these nuts and bolts, but just depends on where you buy them and what you pick. The install, once done, makes for a much easier access and can all be done from under neath the car.I like that because I will have to pull mine once a year but will not be bad.I went ahead and bought some new nuts..... OEM look a likes.
Good luck with install.Pm me if I can be of any help.If you ever need any tools or speciality tools look me up.I can beat Snap-on,Matco,Cornwell or Mac prices 99 times out of 100. Usually stuff made by the same company. And yes most evrything has a lifetime warranty.
Got to get my A** to work. Later!
