Mine is the premium. I wasn't even trying to buy a car that day lol. I paid 26700 and it had 12000 miles. It also came with a few goodies that's why I got it. I would have still got it if it didn't have leather, but the leather comes in handy for my job. I would just say get what you can afford. I love the sync on the car I haven't had any problems. I never even have to take my phone out of my pocket to make a call or answer it same for when I play music too.

The only thing I really really wanted in the premium was the interior lighting... Leather seats aren't good for me after sweating from basketball games 4 times a week (I sweat A LOT). The wheels I wanted weren't the ones on the premium list(GT500 ones from AM). I even planned on getting a double din to replace the stock radio. So all the extra things in the premium were just that....extras. It's all about what u want YOUR car to have when it's all said n done.

The 2013 GT Premium is no joke. I saw one at the dealer with an extractor hood and 19" wheels painted to match the car. It was $36k but it suuuuure looked like it is worth every penny.

Re: Base vs premium

I have a 2013 Deep Impact Blue Base with Recaros, Brembo Package and Tech Package. My buddy has a 12 Premium with Leather and when we are in his car we slide around from the turns and it gets incredibly hot. Leather was not something I wanted. With the Recaros you don't get the option of power seats. I paid 32.

My friend just bought a '13 base GT and it came with the 4.2" LCD between the speedo and tach.

That sounds like the best deal with performance and options to me.
