Long Tube Header

I have been reading that LT headers are much better than short tube headers. Any suggestions on what kind of LT headers and x pipe to get for my '12 GT?

Depends on how much want to.spend. they all make with in a Few HP of each other. But want the best kooks, American racing, or steainless steel works.

Want to.save some coin get bbk.with off road x pipe.

Saving money is always a good thing, but when it comes to my car I would rather spend a little more on a quality product. If I put LT with x pipe I have to update my tune right?

Re: Long Tube Header

Had Kooks LTs and catted H on the 07 and just picked up some American racing LTs and off road X for the 5.0

I'd rather save and wait if I have to in order to get something quality vs getting something cheap just to have them quick.

I went with BBK Long Tube Headers and a BBK Off road X pipe. I initially had a Magnaflow X pipe, but since I added LT Headers, I had to change the X pipe to match with the Headers, so the matching BBK X pipe went on with the BBK LT Headers Stainless.

I went with BBK LT and the off road X pipe, then I added pypes high flow cats to BBK x pipe and then out to the black pype bomb axle backs. I added the cats to give me more back pressure but I love the sound!!!

Yes it does but in some states you don't have the need of cats to have a emissions test. I'm here in Texas and I've never had one done. On my old camaro which was runnin open headers.

Ceramic is best. Helps reduce heat and don't change color like chrome.

Bbk lt and a Catted x pipe here. Cats are kind of a joke on aftermarket pipes so they don't restrict anything

Is there a significant difference between no cats and high flow cats? I had an o/r x pipe on my '04 but never experienced high flow cats.

BBK LTH and Catted x pipe

I just installed the BBK long tubes and matching high flow catted x pipe.
I also have a Roush Axelback

Am I the only one that thinks these things are almost too loud?
