Supercharger

Well as some as u may know ive been trying to start up a road racing crew wit some other guys, city has denied our request due to complaints from the surrounding houses. So now that dream is dead and id like to throw a supercharger on my 2012 5.0 to ease the pain! (cars over 450 hp were going to be illegal on the track) where should i go to get one and what brand, ill install myself so thts not an issue. Im leaning to a procharger because i can do a discount, anybody have one?

6k with d1sc upgrade, 75lb injectors, n bap. Right now I'm at 635/505 @ 10psi. Stock maf is peggin though so little timing was pulled. Would be closer to 650/520 ish. I've got a smaller pulley I'm gonna swap for another 2-3psi. Gotta get new maf though. Waiting till next spring for that.

700 hp is prob max for me. I dont want my engine blowing up. So all i need is a kit and injectors? Also why is the paxton 4000 that makes 713 hp and a whipple does like 700+ but costs 7g..

I'd atleast do the stage 2 kit, bigger intercooler. What he's saying is upgrade to the d1sc head unit and the helicut gears. I did get the d1 but I didn't get the gears. It's not real loud so I'm not sure why he says gears? Anyway, if you plan on just running low boost with the tune it comes with I guess the p1 head unit would be fine. But if you ever plan on upping the boost down the road and getting a custom dyno tune I'd definitely get the d1sc. It's a much better head unit. I guess it depends on your current/future plans with the car. Not sure if am offers upgrades or not though?

Then yeah, I'd just get the stage 2 kit. It says on am that you send your car info to procharger when u purchase so it's kinda made to order so I would be prepared to install exhaust at the same time you do s/c. If u do it before you'll need a new tune for exhaust first and if you do it after s/c you'll need an updated tune from procharger.

The harder you spin prochargers and older they get they seem to get louder. That why I recommended the gears for it.
