Hello.

Hey, folks of MustangEvolution, I'm new to this forum and honestly wish I discovered this many years ago. I currently own a 2010 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 with a Tiger supercharger and it now produces a healthy 423 horsepower and stays at its same torque level. I love my Mustang. I'm just posting because I really need some help with the ropes around here.
Thanks,

Jon

Hello and welcome. Your at the right place, there is alot of good people here that can help you in the future and give you good feedback with the mods and questions you may have.
I have a question for you, you say you gave a 2010 5.0, but the 5.0 didnt come out till 2011. And with those numbers with a supercharger, you indeed have a 4.6.

Sorry about that. I had a minor typo. It is indeed a 2011 and the supercharger is relatively small (I didn't spend much on it). It only had a good 10-12 HP in it.

Okay. I don't put many mods on it. Honestly, that supercharger is the only thing I have for mods.
I bought it in May 2011 with my wife and we share it on a daily basis.

You sure it's not a small fan hooked up to two pieces of dryer hose. Lol. Not knocking ya man. I've just never seen a SC producing 10-12hp. I really wanna see a pic.

Its not that. Its just i never heard of a tiger s/c. Google should nothing. And gains of 10-12hp are laughable. Im very curious as to what you say you have on your car. Not to mention, who tuned your car?

A local mechanic did it. Honestly, I really can't tell a difference in power.

There wont be one person on here that will take you seriously or commend your descisions if you have a "tiger s/c" that makes "10-12hp". Save your money gor mods that you can be proud of, and actually make a difference.

Just curious how is this the mechanics fault? Dude took him a part and he installed it? I fail to see the issue.. And as for the OP you live and you learn.. We all make mistakes and have things we wish we hadn't done to our cars.. No reason to rib the guy for just asking questions and trying to figure out what's up w the car, not really a good way to welcome a guy to the forum! Welcome, and you'll usually find just about any answer you need here.. Good luck!

Don't sweat the jokes, Jon! It's all good. Hell, I barely knew anything about the Stangs before I started reading on here! This is a great source of experienced knowledge. Use them to learn about and enjoy your Mustang because that's what being part of a forum is all about.

When you upgrade to a TT, you should like, let me have your SC. That would be pretty neat.
