| New Mod Plans
After searching the forum a little (finally on my computer), I have noticed it is a fairly common opinion that the MGW short throw is the best buy for our year cars. With that, I'm going to start working on getting on the list and have mine ready to install when I return from deployment, early next year.
My next question is about LT headers and the x pipe? I am very unfamiliar with them and would like to have some input from an experienced group that have dealt with these parts often. What is a good set to buy and what can I expect to gain? Also, what would a rough estimate on intallation be? I have already got GT500 axleback exhaust and I am not too concerned with passing emissions tests because I've never had to get inspected, living in Kentucky. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

LT's are my next investment and have some good info for you but would like to see where the rest of this thread goes first.

Yes, the MGW is going to be one of my next mods. I too would like to hear more thoughts and opinions on the exhaust mods.

Sorry guys, just got back from Fuji!
I was expecting to hear from some people about the LT's. I might be in Georgia when I come back, so MGW might be a stop I have to make.

For LT's, stainless works and looks would be my top choices, stainless is number 1.
If you're looking for something mid grade for price I would go bbk or jba's. I would go offroad exhaust since ky doesn't care lol. Install if you paid for it could be kinda pricey, I would guess in the $3-400 range. But doing it yourself is free but could take you the better part of a day

I'll probably have to get someone to do it. I know little about cars. I can do minor mods myself, but just about anything to do with the engine or drive train, I leave to the professionals! I have some friends that my could do it cheaper though. What's a good price range for good LT's and an offroad x?

if you want top of the line ( i.e. stainless works) I would say probably 1200 and if you want cheaper I would say 750 or so
