Light tinting

There's probably a thread for this already but here goes: I want to tint the taillights (but not over the reverse lights), 3rd brake light, and all the side markers. Should I spend the money on the films (which I hear are a pain in the *** but will be cut perfectly and I can keep the lights on the car during install), or buy the VHT night shades and just spray tint everything (which is more of a pain in the *** but much cheaper overall)?

That's not bad at all actually. I'm guessing they used films, does it hold up well? Like you can wash them normally without them coming off or anything?

The vynil film is not a pain in the ***.... I did mine with soapy water a mini squeegy provided by stang mods (where i purchased my blacked out tailights, signals and markers) and a heat gun also helps and it was my first time working with vynils/ wraps. Go with the vynil its worth it and just ask if u need any help on the instal but it pretty straight foward

Re: Light tinting

I did mine with spray tint, all 3 brake lights and rear sidemarkers for $65 through my local shop. If you can, I recommend getting it sprayed too, lasts a lot longer!
