Tremec magnum xl

I have one on the way, for my 12 gt. Interested to see and hear stories of anyone that already has one or know of someone who does. If anyone does.

I have been looking for info on the trans., other than what tremec has to say. Ive been lucking out so far. Any chance you remember what forum that thread is on. I've read the one where the guy talks about a gto in it and how the shifter is direct mount to the trans.

It's on allfordmustangs. All the tremec's are top mounted shifters.other then the bell housing and clutch the tranny is pretty much the same as used in gt500's and others

Thank you for telling me the forum it was on. After hours of thumbing threads, I believe I found the thread it had all the information I was looking and unable to find elsewhere.

I will keep y'all informed. The only downside so far is the the two months I haven't had my car, and the 400 miles I'll have to put on the clutch before I can use it to get to work again. I'll get that mileage in two days though.

Re: Tremec magnum xl

Yep lost mine in the bowels of Ford service Dept for a month just to get the self-destructing MT82 back in the right number of pieces. You'll be pleased in the end, no doubt.
